What led you to pursue a career in helping others?

What education, skills and expertise do you bring to your role

My undergraduate degree is in Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology from Naropa University, a Buddhist-inspired school in Boulder, CO. Going there was one of the best decisions I have ever made and helped me cultivate a mindfulness practice along with a deeper understanding of emotions and how they express themselves in the body. Through my pre-graduate work, I supported people across different ages in times of immense crisis and this has given me a robust skill set to help hold and manage space for people in difficult situations.

Who/what inspires you?

The resiliency and wisdom of the human spirit.

What’s your personal philosophy/approach toward the work you do?

The client has the answers, I am the guide to help illuminate them.

What is one small thing people can do to increase their happiness?

To live more in the present, than in the past and future via our meandering minds.
