Why Choose DBT Groups for Teens with ADHD?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) offers valuable skills and techniques to help teens with ADHD navigate their challenges more effectively. Through mindfulness practices, teens learn to stay present and focused, helping to manage impulsivity and distractions. Emotion regulation techniques offer support in handling intense feelings such as frustration and stress, promoting emotional stability. Interpersonal effectiveness skills contribute to improving communication and building healthier relationships, while distress tolerance strategies help teens cope with difficult situations without becoming overwhelmed. By learning and using these skills, DBT empowers teens with ADHD to better manage their symptoms, enhance their well-being, and navigate life with greater confidence and resilience.
